Home Farm, Braunston Wedding – Lucy & Sam

Home Farm Braunston Wedding
When I first meet couples I often get asked what happens on a wedding day if it rains. In response I usually say that you’ll have an amazing wedding day and you might get a bit wet. This was very true on the wedding of Lucy & Sam which took place earlier this year. The day started off dry but rained quite a bit in the afternoon and evening. You’d think that given it was essentially a marquee wedding it would have put a real ‘dampener’ on the day.  Well, I can tell you the rain didn’t stop Lucy, Sam and all their wedding guests from having a superb time.

The wedding ceremony was the first I’d ever done at the Guildhall in Northampton. Arguably the finest piece of architecture in Northamptonshire. Once the marriage ceremony was completed we headed to Home Farm in Braunston near Daventry, again the first time I’d had photographed a wedding there.

Great guests, sumptuous food, superb musical entertainment courtesy of Lucy’s father and his band, some mind bending tricks with string(!), and an awesome Bride & Groom all made for a truly memorable day.  Here are a few photos from the day.
