Thought I’d share with you an image I captured on the iPhone from a recent trip along the M6. This is Forton Services near Lancaster which originally opened in 1965. I’ve always been fascinated by the architecture of the tower and have meant to stop to capture an image on the numerous times we’ve travelled up to the Lake District and Scotland. This shot was captured through the window (do you think they need to get a window cleaner there?) look over towards the remarkable tower which was originally a restaurant but is sadly no longer in use.
