Wedding of Claire & Paul
Claire and Paul’s wedding happened to take place on one of the hottest days of 2014. I started the day at Rushton Hall, in Northamptonshire where Claire and her Bridesmaids were getting ready. Once I’d captured the excitement of the morning bridal prep I headed over to Market Harborough to meet up with Paul and his Groomsman at church. By the time the ceremony had ended it was so hot that the tarmac was melting back at Rushton Hall.
The evening was one of the most memorable wedding receptions I’ve had the privilege to photograph with a couple of surprises planned. The most notable of these being the Father of the Bride joining the fantastic Dukes of Havoc band on drums. The first time he’d played drums in public for a very long time and to a rapturous reception from all the guests. A most memorable day for all involved!
