Boy I remember it was a very very hot day. It was also the day that Ruth & Eranda got married in the Northamptonshire village of Isham.

Happy Anniversary to these two super stars!
Where did those 6 years go???

Most memorable things about this wedding? Easy! That fantastic cake – trust me, I tasted it… it was lush! And then what a party atmosphere in the evening. Jennifer had tipped me off that things would get a bit crazy in the evening with the band, dance offs, and general tomfoolery on the dance floor.

Absolutely loved photographing my first wedding in

Absolutely loved photographing my first wedding in France at the stunning Chateau Lacanaud just outside of Eymet in the Dordogne.

The grounds of the Chateau are simply stunning and the perfect setting for an outdoor ceremony and the subsequent drinks reception and wedding breakfast.

Following an evening of thunderstorms we were blessed with the most incredible weather on the day. Mid 30s temperatures which at one point literally overheated one of our cameras. Good job we have plenty of backup cameras!

Would love the opportunity to be back shooting weddings in the South of France. Hopefully it won’t be too long!

Two years ago today we arrived at the beautiful me

Two years ago today we arrived at the beautiful mediaeval town of Eymet in the Dordogne, France ahead of shooting a wedding the next day.

We fell in love hard with Eymet. So much so that we seriously considered packing everything up back in England and moving there to open up a B&B / Guesthouse. We probably thought about it for way too long and bottled it! In hindsight, given this current CoronaShite situation we probably did the right thing.

One day though maybe we’ll do it…. And we’ll definitely go back there at some point. The last photo in the set is Tina’s favourite selfie of us both.
