There are a couple of very memorable things about Becca & Michael’s Huntsmill Farm Wedding. The first was the incredible speech made by Michael. It’ll go down as one of the most entertaining groom’s speech that I’ve witnessed, more on it later. And the second memorable moment was during the romantic bride and groom portraits where Michael accidentally punched Becca right in the face! More on that later too.
Becca and Michael were guests at a wedding I photographed back in 2016. They liked the photos I did at that wedding and thought I’d be perfect to capture their big day, and there can be no better compliment than that. Their wedding ceremony took place at St Peters & St Pauls Church in Buckingham, followed by the rest of the day at the wonderful Huntsmill Farm Wedding venue. On the day I was joined by Tina and Toby who were filming the day for Neon Trifle Film. I’ve posted the highlights film after the photos below for you to take a look at. In the film you’ll hear an abridged version of Michael’s speech. Michael decided to do the whole speech as a poem – it went down extremely well with everyone there.
Becca & Michael’s wedding was my second at the wonderful Huntsmill Farm wedding venue. The first was Lucy & Tyler’s wedding back in 2016 and its clear that the venue have been very busy since then making lots of changes and renovations to the buildings and grounds. Huntsmill Farm is surrounded by the most beautiful countryside. Perfect for couples portraits in fields and around rustic and industrial farm buildings. One of the favourite spots is shown in the main image above. What you might be able to make out in the image is the tree swing just behind Becca and Michael. If there’s a swing then we really need to use it in photos. And this is exactly what we did. Sitting snugly together in the swing somehow Michael managed to accidentally punch Becca right in the face… there’s a photo down below taken seconds after it happened – see you if you can spot it! Luckily there were no hard feelings, or bruising and we all had a bit of a laugh about it. I’m sure its still a talking point to this day.

Totally worthy of noting was the incredible wedding cake by Gabriella’s in Olney. It tasted as good as it looked.
