Claire & Craig
My last wedding of 2015 was for Claire & Craig who had their South Farm Wedding just a few days before Christmas. I’ve known Claire for a good few years as I used to work with her back when I was in the wonderful world of Health & Safety and Risk Management! No, you’re right, I don’t miss it at all! I’d seen a few South Farm weddings on other blogs in the past and really loved the look and feel of the place. So I was over the moon when Claire told me that they’d chosen South Farm as their venue for the reception and evening partying.
Their marriage ceremony took place at St Thomas of Canterbury Church in Royston, just a short drive from South Farm. I had the opportunity to photograph throughout the ceremony and from different view points. A privilege that I don’t always get, which is a shame, because after all – this is the most important part of the day.
Once the important religious and legal parts of the day were complete Claire & Craig, along with their guests, headed to South Farm. Transport for our bride and groom was provided by V-Dub Rides with Hayley’s gorgeous 1971 white VW Beetle, named Billy. Those of you who follow my Facebook page may have seen Billy feature last year at another wedding which I’ve yet to blog on the website.
With their wedding only a few days before Christmas Claire and Craig had some lovely little touches for the wedding breakfast. Guests had Christmas tree decorations as favours and the tables were all named after favourite Christmas movies… including my favourite, Frank Capra’s ‘It’s a Wonderful Life’.
It has to be said that the star of the show was Claire & Craig’s son, Lyle. Chinos, velvet jacket, bow tie…! That little dude sure has some style!
Anyway – I’ll shut up, you probably just want to look at photos and not read my ramblings… Here a few photos from Claire & Craig’s splendid South Farm Wedding.
I totally loved shooting at this venue so if you’re planning your own South Farm Wedding then please get in touch. I’d love to hear from you.
