Cristin & Alex Wedding
This is Cristin and Alex’s Hedsor House Wedding which I had the absolute honour to photograph last year. I’d previously met them both at the weddings of Queenie & James and Claire & Paul which I photographed during 2014. Alex was the groomsman at two different weddings in the space of about three weeks. So it was great when I had the email from them asking me to be the photographer at their own wedding.
Their wedding ceremony took place at St Peter’s Church in Marlow with everyone then heading to Hedsor House Wedding venue in Buckinghamshire. Hedsor House is one of the most beautiful venues I’ve photographed at. It has stunning grounds as well as incredible interiors. Its no wonder its been used as a location for various films and television programmes. I’ve found myself spotting it in a number of things I’ve watched since I photographed the wedding. And speaking of films – the wedding car which Cristin & Alex used on the day is a bit of a film star itself! Yes, the Aston Martin was indeed used in the James Bond film Skyfall.
Right from the beginning of the day I knew I was in for a day full of fun and character. Family and friends were just so awesome on the day and really let me get right into the action. And of course it was great catch up with a couple of my previous brides and grooms and see them later on busting out their legendary moves on the dance floor again!
As a special surprise for guests Cristin & Alex had arranged for a fireworks display to take place after the wedding breakfast. Very fitting given that Bonfire Night was just a few days away. It was one of the most impressive displays I’ve seen at a wedding and it certainly set everyone up for good party feel in the evening. The Hot Shots provided the soundtrack to some top drawer moves and crazy dancing late into the night.
Right, enough rambling from me. Here are a few of my favourite photos from the day. Enjoy!
