Cat & Tom – Crockwell Farm Wedding

Featured Image

This weekend I head back to Crockwell Farm Wedding venue for another summer wedding. And so I thought it would be a great idea to share Cat & Tom’s Crockwell Farm Wedding from last year. Cat and Tom are genuinely one of the most amazing couples I’ve met. Their wedding was full of thoughtful touches and details unique to them as a couple. All the decorations were made by Cat, it must have taken a lot of time and dedication to make it all. Each and every guest received a personal note on the back of table name cards. Such a lovely gesture. For a short while Cat & Tom were joined by their gorgeous Jack Russell named William.  William properly stole the show, getting right into the action and involved during the bridal party group photos and a few portraits.

Crockwell Farm itself looked glorious on this beautiful summers day. I’ve photographed many times at Crockwell Farm but this was the first wedding where there ceremony had taken place outside at the Orchard Pavilion. A beautiful setting for a ceremony and Cat & Tom lucked out with the weather on the day to enable there to be no last minute panics about whether it would take place outside or not.

Guests were thoroughly entertained throughout the day. Cat & Tom had set up no end of garden games including rounders, sack racing, tin can alley, and welly wanging to name just a few. Guests certainly showed their competitive side when it came to the welly wanging and rounders thats for sure! Later into the evening guests were encouraged to get on the dance floor for a bit of Ceilidh dancing courtesy of The Ceilidh Tree

Anyway, to the photos. I’ve compiled a few of my favourite images from Cat & Tom’s day below.

From Cat & Tom

“Dear Aaron,
Thank you so very much for your incredible work on our wedding day.  It is hard to put into words how glad we are that we found you to capture and record forever ALL the important parts of our day. You were able to capture all the important things, both big and little, in a way which we will treasure forever. We have put all of our favourite photos into a phonebook, but choosing our favourites was certainly a challenge.

It has been wonderful showing our photos to friends and family, all of whom have been so impressed with the quality of your work. Thank you for managing to capture all of the guests, no mean feat, but so important for us. You have also managed to capture so much emotion and joy in our day, the photos are such a true reflection of this. We particularly loved the pictures you got of William who certainly wasn’t camera-shy. Thank you being the one who captured a day we will remember forever, for taking amazing photos we will one day show to our children, grandchildren, for capturing memories we will flick through even when we are old and grey.
Love and best wishes, Catherine, Tom and William.”

If you’re planning your own Crockwell Farm Wedding then I’d truly love to hear from you so get in touch.
